A nested sidebar with note counts, drag-to-reorder, and re-parenting — and it keeps what you had open open, across launches. A ⌘K quick-open palette, back/forward history, and a breadcrumb make jumping around instant.
Search that reads your attachments
On-device text recognition pulls the words out of your images and scanned PDFs, so a photo of a receipt or a scanned page is findable by what it actually says.
Yours to keep and take with you
A soft-delete trash with a 30-day window and Put Back, plus a full-library backup and readable exports to PDF, Markdown, and RTFD. Nothing you write is locked in.
